The wellness technology company plans to broaden its product portfolio into nutrition while strengthening its Brand Partner community and local operations.
KUALA LUMPUR, 2 November 2026 – LifeWave (M) Sdn Bhd, the Malaysian subsidiary of global wellness technology company LifeWave, is outlining its growth priorities for 2027 as it celebrates five years of operations in Malaysia with the opening of its newly renovated Kuala Lumpur office.
The company plans to broaden its wellness portfolio, strengthen its Brand Partner community and introduce more opportunities for engagement as part of its next phase of development in the Malaysian market.
One of its key priorities is to expand beyond its existing phototherapy patches into a wider range of wellness innovations. LifeWave anticipates entering the nutrition category in 2027, reflecting its plans to diversify its product portfolio and address a broader range of wellness needs.
The announcement was made during the LifeWave Malaysia Grand Opening Ceremony and 5th Anniversary celebration, which was attended by the company’s Founder and CEO, David Schmidt.
Since establishing its Malaysian operations in 2021, LifeWave has continued to develop its local presence and Brand Partner community. Malaysia also remains an important market in the company’s wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) strategy, with plans to strengthen engagement and increase awareness of its wellness innovations.
David Schmidt, Founder and CEO of LifeWave, said Malaysia had become an important part of the company’s journey in the Asia-Pacific region over the past five years, supported by its Brand Partners and the community built in the market.
He added that the newly renovated office reflects the company’s confidence in Malaysia and its commitment to the market’s long-term development.
“As we look towards 2027, our ambition is to introduce more of LifeWave’s wellness innovations to Malaysia while creating greater opportunities for our Brand Partners to connect, learn and grow,” Schmidt said.
The newly renovated Kuala Lumpur office is also part of the company’s efforts to support its local operations. It features expanded meeting and training facilities designed to accommodate more Brand Partner activities while allowing daily operations to continue smoothly.
Beyond serving as a corporate workplace, the office is intended to provide a space for Brand Partners to connect, learn and collaborate, supporting the company’s focus on community development.
Founded in 2004 by David Schmidt, LifeWave has built its business around wellness innovation and product development, including its portfolio of phototherapy patches. The company’s Human Potential Technology vision reflects its broader direction towards developing wellness solutions that support wellbeing and human potential.
As LifeWave enters its sixth year in Malaysia, the company aims to strengthen its market presence, support its Brand Partner community and broaden awareness of its evolving wellness portfolio.
